sound and our head chef Paul has created a delicious tapas

What is Tapas?
Tapas is the name given to a wide variety of appetizers in
Spanish cuisine. They may be cold (such as mixed olives and
cheese) or warm. In North America, parts of Europe and Australia,
tapas have evolved into an entire cuisine. In these countries,
patrons of tapas restaurants can order many different tapas
and combine them to make a full meal. The serving of tapas
is designed to encourage conversation because people are not
so focused upon eating an entire meal but rather sharing a
few tapas between a few people.
Tapas bars have become very popular in Melbourne and more
recently, Sydney, and while Onda is not a bar (you must dine
to have a drink) our regulars have been asking about Tapas
for a while now and we are happy to share any culinary trends
we can when we can. Tapas is fun and a great way to spend a
Sunday afternoon with friends, especially with the sultry sounds
of Jazz and the gorgeous views over Terrigal beach.
